Alara Bed and Breakfast

Absolute disaster of a place we arrived checked into our room with light fitting hanging from ceiling no bulb dirty room and smelt vile to be told the room had a previous leak they was working on it but acceptable to sleep in not a chance i complained to be then to be transfered to another room which was in loft they are shared bathrooms no communication at all from staff and certainly no breakfast at 8am not a soul about in the 24 hrs stay like they stated and it smelt fusty dont let this place fool you as a bnb it's more of a hostel certainly won't be visiting again !

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Caty and given our keys to a newly decorated room. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the room was immaculate. There is a continental breakfast provided with a wide variety of fruit, cereals, croissants etc. Will definitely be booking again!

During a particularly nasty cold spell the room was lovely and warm, a hot shower was welcomed when i returned from work. The amenities were excellent comfortable beds and from the owners nothing was too much trouble their welcome was as warm as the rooms. Nice to have off road parking too! I have stayed on more than one occasion and would be more than happy to stay again
