Just had my Mums wake at Aston Hall hotel and absolutely disgusted in the standard of food, we paid £24.95 a head for 30 people for a few sandwiches on cheap bread with hardly any filling, a couple of plates of small sweet treats and 4 bowls of crisps with tea or coffee. Must have used 3 loaves of bread maximum, we had to ask for extra sandwiches, the sandwiches were dry and completely tasteless. Previously had afternoon tea at Aston Hall which has been excellent. Certainly not impressed at paying £750 for the food we received today and would definitely not recommend to anyone! Wished I’d taken pictures before anyone ate anything.

Very nice hotel and staff but extremely loud music until after midnight. Beware!

Booked an afternoon tea for my husband's birthday on one of the hotest days of the year. Air-conditioning was on and we were greeted with a jug of iced water. I requested no cheese sandwich for me and this was sorted plus cheese scone replaced. The service from Lisa was prompt and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Boxes were provided for the cakes we couldn't finish. Tea and coffee replenished. Would highly recommend.
