Holiday Inn Cambridge by IHG Cambridge Complaint about a reservation 1070479645 I needed to make a one night reservation at Holiday Inn Cambridge By IHG. Their website gave a reservation number in the USA which is an independent reservations center. As there was no other number given I booked a room after specifying our requirements as "blue badge" holders. On arrival the hotel receptionist seemed to have no knowledge of our reservation until I produced a written confirmation. Our specific requirements were not transmitted to the hotel. We were allocated a room that was adequate for one night but on pointing out that the price I paid seemed excessive I was told that it included US charges that need not have been paid had I booked through a UK agency. There was of course no contact number on the site to do this. I have spent very much time on the IHG website and phone to try to make a complaint to the responsible management but have continually been referred on. The latest communication was an email from the hotel who apologised for the shortfalls and pointed out that the booking was done through a third party. My reply requesting an email or postal address to make my complaint has gone unanswered.
