Oh dear... Oh really dear... It's a 1980's throwback. Room was freezing. I checked at reception in the morning. Incredibly, they don't put the central heating on until later in the year. Why isn't it on thermostat? it is 2026...!! and it was 7c outside...The television.. most channels don't work, and the ones that do were pixelating.. there isn't any Sky or TNT, so forget sports etc...Wifi was intermittent. Breakfast. Nobody else in, but still they managed to burn the bap my breakfast came on!! The public bar attached to the hotel was closed, so forget getting a drink or snack. They don't open it during the week..?? There are stairs only to the breakfast room, so an infirm lady guest couldn't get up, she ended up sitting on the stairs exhausted.. and there are steep stone steps to the bedrooms, so not suitable if you are unsure on your feet... There must be many better choices locally, as this was over £100 for one night b&b...

Room ok,staff lovely, booked to fine out the bar and restaurant are now close which was the reason I booked it as everything was at hand but now you have to walk 10 minutes up the road to the dirtiest Wetherspoons I’ve ever been in! After using this hotel several times over the years I think this will be the last time.
