Good location, stay here every year. Good value for money, clean, and quiet, comfortable beds.

It’s a Travelodge so you do know what you’re getting. Clean, quiet, comfy beds, pleasant staff. Massive downside is that during the heatwave, the rooms were close to 30c - and you COULDN’T OPEN THE WINDOWS more than 5cms to let the hot air out and fresh air in at night. And of course there’s no aircon (again, it’s a Travelodge) so we had a very unpleasant night sweltering in a hotbox.

Well the metal fencing around part of the perimetre wasnt attractive but once parked and walked into Reception was lovely. Large reception area with a bench. Plenty of info around and extra tea/coffee/sugar etc at desk. Duncan welcomed us and he was very friendly & helpful. He booked us in, with key info, nearest pub etc. Very lomg corridors with carpet Clean and airy room. Bed very comfy & fresh towels. Needed a bath mat, dangerous getting out of shower without one, had to pyt a towel down. Lined curtains and fan. No lifts, only 2 floors. Fire extinguishers,fire alarms very visuable. Checked out next day by Ben, also very nice & helpful.
