Arrochar Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for two nights with breakfast included. Having stayed at many premium hotels, we were delighted with the breakfast. Plenty of choices and the hot food was replenished quickly and efficiently. The rooms are a little old fashioned but very clean and the bed comfortable. The shower looks a little tired but it was powerful and easy to use. Shower gel and shampoo was provided, plus the usual kettle, coffee etc. The staff are genuinely fantastic! They work really hard and every single member of staff we encountered could not have been more polite and friendly. We loved our stay here. The view is absolutely stunning. We came to relax and this hotel delivered in abundance.

Lochside Hotel with Views. Double Room with breakfast included for our 1 night NC500 trip stay Mid June was £110.00. The room was No 229 with front facing Loch View and visual over the car park where we had parked the car. Hotel is situated just a few miles from Tarbet (Loch Lomond) where hotel prices were much more. This hotel had Scottish Charm, lots of areas to sit and watch the world go by. During the weekdays more coach tours stay, however this did not affect us. Room had all the facilities of home. More info can be obtained from their website.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location and great views. Dinner reminded me of a primary school dinner. Was still hungry after eating. Creaky bed and floorboards, dirty toilet and room needed painting. Would never stay here again.
