I was recommended this hotel by a friend as I was visiting Stirling for the first time to attend the Bloody Scotland crime fiction festival. It is such a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. It was a relaxing and welcoming environment, very quiet, too. I found the festival quite hectic so I kept returning to my hotel for some down time and it was the perfect place to sit with a cup of tea and a snack to recharge. I spoke to many members of staff, all of whom were friendly, helpful, and had a smile on their faces. They were happy to help. I will definitely be staying here again, hopefully very soon.

I booked this hotel through a voucher offer, and needed 3 rooms! I really don’t know where to start, but because of the small print on the voucher I thought that I was not going to be able to give my American friends the experience of Stirling that I had hoped. The Hotel manager Lee was superb. He listened to my concerns, and basically honoured something he could easily have refused, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff they were all excellent, but I would like to give a special mention to Lindsay (sorry if the spelling is wrong) Receptionist who sorted out so many things for us and was still smiling, and Ben at breakfast- what a worker, he never stopped, and everything was done to perfection. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! We also had afternoon tea, I would recommend this to everyone the amount of food served was unbelievable- all beautiful!!!

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Great location. Breakfast superb. Had a brilliant stay, only 500 yards up a bank was Stirling castle. Lots of bars and restaurants near to hotel. Only negative was 4pm check in. We are touring Scotland and staying g in 10 hotels, and this was the only hotel with a 4pm check in, others were 3pm
