We stayed over the Mildenhall weekend in May, so prices were understandably higher than usual. My review reflects the price we paid.
Room: 6
Negative
• The shower water pressure was virtually nonexistent— the taps had more pressure than the shower, but weren’t fantastic.
• The mattress felt very cheap. You could feel the springs (or lack of them), and it was extremely soft, offering little support or good night sleep.
• Noise from the corridor kept us awake. As the room sits in a corner with corridors wrapping around it, we heard people passing by throughout the night.
Neutral
• The room was very dated — it looked like it hadn’t been refurbished since the early 90s, with an interior MFI would have been proud of back in the day.
The carpet, however, did appear to have been replaced more recently and headboard.
Positive
• The room was spotlessly clean.
Overall
2/5, based on the points above.
