Premier Inn Lowestoft

Overall a great one night stay - included was the meal deal All staff were friendly and helpful and then a great night’s sleep. See you again New Year

Very basic room at premium prices. £132. For one night. Cleanliness of room not up to standard. One bath towel for two people. One Pyrex mug each, no separate water glass. Very dated room. The restaurant looks in dire need of refurbishment. Waited 10 minutes to be served in the bar, eventually rude Barman came with no social skills whatsoever. Not recommended. We often use premier inn and usually very pleased, but not in Lowestoft.

I have stayed at the premiere inn Lowestoft several times over the last 12 months for business purposes and each time there has been a noticeable decline in hygiene standards. First morning there was no hot food available as I am led to believe the chef did not turn in for work, Dirty cutlery, infestation of flies, sticky tables, putrid smell in the bar area, this morning I went to have a cup of coffee and after choosing six mugs I eventually found a clean one. I pointed this out to the manager and he removed the six mugs that I had discarded and never checked all the other mugs that was left on the tray, I saw several other guests experience the same issue after me.Surely the tray of mugs should have been removed and re washed !! Most of the staff are pleasant and work really hard but are let down by some of their colleagues, management and in general the hotel standards. Thank god this hotel is due to be closed as it should be condemned. I will think twice about staying at a premiere Inn again. 😡
