The Hillside is a really great find. Stand outs for me were:- Peaceful garden for relaxing with coffee, a book or chatting with friends. 5 star service at very affordable prices and really friendly staff. Excellent food. It's obvious the chefs here care about the quality of their products. I had breakfast on 2 days. Gorgeous!

Nice hotel set in the English countryside. It has a lovely garden. My room was clean. It was super hot in the room but I did stay there during a heatwave. The car park is across the road from the hotel so it can be a bit tricky because cars drive quickly on that road. The hotel was peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel has such a lovely atmosphere, it’s clean and the bed was so comfortable we had a perfect nights sleep. We relaxed in the beautiful garden in the evenings, it was so peaceful. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We would recommend going to the Ten Tables restaurant too. The food was amazing and so tasty. Everything was perfect!
