The Kings Arms and Royal Hotel

Lovely old coaching inn. Lots of character in the centre of beautiful Godalming. Our room was very comfortable with coffee and tea making facilities. We had an a delicious evening meal and prices were reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. Lots to see and do in Godalming. Don’t miss the fascinating museum, historic church and riverside walk.

A really nice place in the heart of Godalming town centre. Managed to get parked but it is a very small, shared parking area so you might not always get in. Checked in with a slight hiccup over payment but it was soon smoothed over with no issues. Staff excellent and friendly. Brought two dogs, which costs an extra £15 in total. Ended up having dinner in the bar too which was really good quality. Room was a good size with free tea, coffee, water and hot chocolate and a couple of packs of biscuits. Bathroom facilities good though some peeling of the paint on the ceiling in multiple places (Room 109). Nice outdoor area too. Close to what Godalming has to offer.
