Quality Hotel Boldon

I would not recommend this hotel. I went to a wedding here and there were no staff on arrival to inform guests to register their reg plate resulting in a £60 or £100 if not paid in 14 days. They said there were people with iPads which there certainly wasn’t. There wasn’t the staff even at the bar as we waited over half an hour for drinks and gave up. The hotel get paid from parking eye from fines. They have said the charge is waived now but cannot refund me so it was a very expensive night so anyone going here be warned! Absolute thieves and I will be taking it further when spoken to citizens advice

Stayed here for business needs in Newcastle the following day. Thought my taxi driver had kidnapped me as he was driving away from Newcastle City Centre and eventually brought me to the hotel. Which is fine, standard bargain hotel. However “Newcastle South” is a generous description of its location. A good 20 minute drive (accounting for morning traffic) from Newcastle and hotel isn’t even on the local rail line to cover the need for a massive Uber bill.

Lovely clean room great bed and pillows, went for a tribute night which was very good as was the breakfast .The only thing that will stop us a party if 6 returning was the bar prices
