Sandman Signature Hotel Newcastle

We booked at the very last minute due to my son being admitted to the RVI. Us 3 adults were accommodated in in a twin room with a sofa bed and kitchenette. Due to the circumstances, we had to book day by day and undo a booking after my son was transferred to another hospital. The staff could not have been any more accommodating and understanding. They ensured we had the same room for the 8 nights and endeavoured to give us the best price. Contrary to other reviews, I found the hotel to be clean and the room was well furnished. We could hear ambulances but that is only to be expected with the RVI only being 10 minutes walk away. I would 10/10 stay here again.

Great location, right next to the metro station, lovely atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and amazing, made us very welcome while there celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. The room was perfect for what we needed with amazing views of St james park, and king Kevs memorial. The room was very clean and even had a lovely suprise of a bottle of prosecco, chocolates, a card and rose petals, which made our visit even more special. Great value for money.

Ben looked after us, managed to get us an early check in and an excellent room. Felt very well looked after
