Great experience overall. Rooms are very comfortable for a family, even the single bedroom + living room setup. Our 15 month old had a folding crib, 8 year old had the couch that folds out into a bed; both living room and bedroom have separate climate control units that kept the rooms very comfortable in the heat. It's a nice enough area, quiet. Not much in the immediate area, but the location itself is a very short walk to the Jesmond metro station (5 minutes, maybe?) that takes your straight into downtown in just a few stops, and there is both a restaurant on site and a nearby store you can find food at. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and a very homey atmosphere. Breakfast was very good. We ended up changing our plans to rebook here to end our trip, we enjoyed it so much. We felt for what we got out was a very good value.

Air conditioning units on the outside of the building attached to wall of studio apartment. Constant loud humming all night. Only got 3 hours of sleep. Breakfast not that great, coffee vile and machine took ages. Good location and lovely staff but avoid except in depths of winter when aircon for whole building presumably not working

Very pleasant stay in this apartment. Clean and spacious, and convenient 2 or 3 stops on metro to Newcastle centre.
