Premier Inn Newcastle Airport South

First time we have stayed and it will be the last. Rooms tired curtains hanging off the rail. Bathroom very tired and needs a complete overhaul. No chance of sleeping in as planes wake you up at 6am. Don't even get that at the airport hotels. Beds are not comfortable so not like a premier Left some mans deodorantin in the room . BRAND new .says they throw such things away "joke".

Stayed night before flight. The hotel is 1 mile south of airport and includes overnight free parking at a very competitive rate compared to onsite airport hotel's. A big bonus is the pub right next door that serves a carvery.

Arrived at 9pm, checked in was told bluntly that our room was to the left passed the restaurant. The room wasn't just to the left passed the restaurant it was an entrance at the other side of the building above the pub. The hallway and 3 flights of stairs were tired , dirty and in disrepair. The room was much the same very dated, in disrepair and dirty - there was thick dust on the lamps and headboard and window frames, as well as the bathroom having thick dirt under the taps and under the sink. Every time you flush the loo or run a tap it gurgles up through the bath. The basin taps physically turn when you move the lever. Frankly it was disgusting I wouldn't let me dog sleep in that room. It would get less than 1 star. They say you know what you get with a premier inn, well if that's what you get ill go elsewhere from now on. A told waste of money I'd rather sleep in my car .
