Aberavon Beach

Didn’t answer phone when querying accessible room availability. Left my number for them to call back…never called me. Booked anyway and requested accessible room. On arrival told they only have 1 accessible room and that is booked for week. So given room with bath which my wife could not use. Room was clean, but bed uncomfortable, pillows 3/4 size and lumpy. Horrible night’s sleep. Had problems with room keys, had them changed twice in 1 day. 2 lifts, only 1 in operation. Bar in the evening empty of customers, bottled lager warm. Booked in for 2 nights, left after 1, no staff on reception to explain why we were leaving. My advice, find another hotel to use!

Rooms are dated and walls are paper thin, banging and crashing all night, could get conversations from the next room. A very unrestful stay;

Great stay, room comfortable. Very clean and easily accessible. Breakfast average, food items only lukewarm. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Luigi on reception. Room was rather warm but a fan was supplied, not sure it would be sufficient in a really hot summer. A nice touch was the free swim voucher for the sport complex next door. All in all very good value for money.
