My husband and I booked Sunday lunch here for the 13th Sept. It did not disappoint. We both thought that this was the best Sunday lunch we have had in a long time. We had a prawn cocktail to start which was beautifully presented and delicious. For main course, my husband had turkey and I had beef. The roast potatoes were divine and we both had three large ones. There was red cabbage, broccoli, french beans, cauliflower cheese and carrots. The service was excellent, the environment was immaculately clean and it felt like a real treat. We will definitely return. The best in South Wales!

Free car park and in walking distance to the beach. Buffet breakfast but you have to order fried, boiled or poached eggs. A supplement of about £4 for varied breakfast like eggs Benedict is not welcomed! This is the only hotel in over 50 years that expects customers to check the bedroom items right down to individual pillows! Anything not there at the end of you stay is chargeable. We found this statement most intimidating!!! Staff are paid to stocktake - not customers!!! Staff were fine.

We enjoyed our stay here, just the one night. We had one of the rooms separate from the main hotel which was nice but the ceiling must be v thin as the noise from upstairs was pretty loud....however the people staying there must have got ij before us and up after us so no issues with sleep. Staff were nice, and helpful. Breakfast tasty, appreciated that they did vegan sausages for me even tho it was just 10am. Happy hour in bar was v good value, buy 2 drinks get cheapest free! Parking plentiful and was good location just outside the village, 5 mins walk but quiet.
