Virginia Lodge

We've just spent the weekend at Virginia Lodge Guest house, it was to celebrate a special birthday. Mom, Dad, daughter and son in law. It was lovely. Tim the owner greeted us, he gave us a lot of information regarding restaurants, pubs, and things to do in the area. The guest house is so centrally located for everything. The rooms are really nice, olde worlde, spotlessly clean. Shower was lovely and hot. We were lucky enough to have the 4 poster bed room. Rooms were very quiet, so we all slept well. The breakfast was great, pre order what you want the night before, including a full English , there was also cereal, fruit juices and toast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Virginia Lodge is a lovely B&B in a great location, with free parking. It's a short walk to the theatres on Riverside or into town. The owner is warm and welcoming, friendly and chatty, always on hand. Each room is different but all are well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast is cooked to order and always delicious. Virginia Lodge is always my first choice when visiting Stratford-upon-Avon.

This is a great place to stay. Lovely room, calm atmosphere. More than I can eat offered for breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Very clean. I'm a professional live- in carer and this is ideal for anyone to rest between placements and need a bit of care themselves. Very near to all that Stratford upon Avon has to offer.
