Staff on desk terrible. Had guide dog and stated on web site free. Lady did not believe me. Was rude and challenging. Whole family austistic made us all upset. Man desk charged me twice. Spoke manager did not care very dismissive. Swimming pool. Daughter had allergic reaction after tablets put water while in it. Marriot breaking law with my service dog very unwelcoming after 4 hour drive all family overloaded. Never stay here again..Dust rooms and people see you in the room and bathroom opposite. Never been treated so badly.

After being let down by another hotel in Birmingham, we booked here last minute. The rates were very reasonable for a Marriott, and it has on site parking, which for the centre of Birmingham is novel. There was a small fee for parking, but not a bit issue. The check in was easy and reception staff nice and friendly. The foyer is art deco mahogany paneling, and very nice, it has a lot of character. The room was a little dated, but still nice, clean, and had everything we needed. We were right next to a main dual carriageway and a busy city centre roundabout, but the soundproofing was good and we never heard a thing. Large comfortable bed, good air-conditioning and well ventilated. We'd definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham from Friday through Monday, travelling from the Netherlands, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, every single member of staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Whether it was the reception team, the restaurant, or the bar staff, everyone was consistently warm, professional, and friendly 🤗 The rooms are spacious, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the bed… wow! I honestly had some of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. I especially loved that there was a choice of different pillow sizes, so I could pick the one that suited me best. The bathroom was just as impressive. The shower was hot within seconds and had great water pressure, and there was a lovely bathtub to unwind in after a busy day. I also really appreciated having a proper hairdryer and an iron with an ironing board in the room. These little things make a big difference when you’re travelling, and they’re not something I find in every hotel. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a nice variety of continental breakfast items as well as a delicious Full English Breakfast. You can even have eggs freshly cooked exactly the way you like them. Dinner was equally impressive. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the flavours were absolutely spot on. Another highlight was the hotel’s fantastic leisure facilities. The 24/7 gym is well equipped, which made it easy to fit in a workout whenever it suited me. After a busy day, it was wonderful to relax in the spa and enjoy the heated swimming pool. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel is surrounded by a lovely coffee shop, a supermarket, and convenient stores for phone and shoe repairs. Birmingham’s shopping centre and many fantastic restaurants and bars are only a five-minute walk away. And for the ladies: there’s an amazing skin clinic right across the street! Overall, this was a true five-star experience for me. I will definitely be staying here again whenever I’m back in Birmingham. Highly recommended!
