Hampton Inn Birmingham City North

The staff were so helpful and friendly, and we rotated through 3 different shift changes and all were equally as friendly. The room didn't have a view but that didn't bother us in the slightest as only sleeping in there but mention it as I know some people care about that kind of thing. The shower had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available (so many places have multi use now it was good to have separate options especially with needing conditioner). Over the sink had soap and body lotion - again not something you see in many places now. The property was very clean and the breakfast was possibly the best breakfast we've had as part of a buffet in terms of options and quality of ingredients. Unbelievable for the price really. Location was around 20 minutes from the museum at a steady pace. There is a car park on Northgate which is a minute walk away, open so you take your chances but our vehicle was fine. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Birmingham. Also to note the tram is pretty much next door to the hotel if that is of interest to travellers.

Ryan on the front desk was super friendly and really helpful. Was so good to chat with him. I also got to speak with Zidane on security, a really knowledgeable and approachable guy. Thanks to both for making our stay so memorable! Really appreciated the feedback on my artwork.

For £80 a night (double room, 2 people) it's a great deal! Room very clean, had everything you need for a short stay. Very friendly staff, a credit to the hotel chain. Located next to tram stop so you are ok for getting to City though we were happy walking but it's not the best of areas.
