Great location but that's it Checked in at 8pm first room smell damp knocked us out I have mould allergy so asked to move to a high floor Only available room was across corridor Same mould issue but not as bad Went asked reception for refund they said do through booking and they would authorise but they never did so in end had to cancel request We went walk and mould wasn't as bad after leaving window open but still there. Bathroom was never cleaned even dirt behind sink taps, toilet leaked and shower when in use Beds rock hard old spring type matress Furniture seen better days Breakfast ok but was scared to eat due to cleanliness of hotel coffee was bad out machine

Absolutely disgusting run down hotel Very shabby I was given a room that absolutely stunk like cat pee it had obviously had a water leak at some point room 103 the laminate flooring near the door should have been replaced as it was all bubbled carpets should have definitely been replaced the stench was horrendous I felt so sick smelling this all night even with the window open wide the smell was horrendous then came down in the morning to a bit nice breakfast either bacon rock hard cheap nasty sausages not a nice experience The whole place needs refurbishing

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. You don’t get what they advertise! Rooms are run done, TVs, kettles and aircon don’t work in the rooms. The mattress are very thin and uncomfortable. They say there’s free parking but they blocked of most of the car park for a filming crew. People had to find alternative parking. We tried to raise a complaint and got told well if you weren’t happy why did you stay? We felt this comment was unnecessary and rude as it was too late to find alternative accommodation. We asked to speak to the manager. At first the manager seemed to listen and promised she would investigate the concerns we had and said she would call us back in the evening, we haven’t heard anything back. Other members of staff allowed other guests to get involved even tho it had nothing to do with them. The hotel has been rebranded but there’s still the same problem within the hotel.
