The Atherstone Red Lion Hotel

Stayed in the rooms belonging to the Red Lion, which wouldn’t stay there again, I’ve mentioned them in my reviews. Had breakfast here which was excellent, and evening meal which was also excellent, compliments to the chef. All the staff was friendly and polite.

We held my mums life celebration here after her funeral on Friday 21st August 26. From initial booking through to the event it was seamlessly organised. All our requirements and requests were listened to and actioned. Anthony and his team looked after us very well and the food was lovely. Thank you to all the team who made mums send off exactly what she and we wanted.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The room was really comfy. The staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good value and tasty. I was able to relax and have a peaceful break. The hotel is on a lovely high street with a good variety of shops.
