To be honest, I was hesitant coming here after reading a few previous reviews, but honestly I had a great stay here. Was here for 3 nights for business and everything from the food, to the newly refurbished room, the bar, etc were top notch. The steak frites and truffle Mac & cheese were very good from the menu. If I'm ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again!

5 of us had a really lovely time at The Regency having afternoon tea. The food was nice, the teas and coffees were plentiful, the service was friendly and efficient, we weren't rushed in any way and it was great value for money. We'd certainly go back there again.

Beware of parking there as little visible signage to say that you had to register your car at reception or restaurant and now have been issued a very hefty parking fine despite being legitimately booked into the restaurant. Food ok but this has tainted the time there and will not be going again.
