Coombe Abbey Hotel

Everything pretty much spot. We stayed for one night and really enjoyed our short stay. I'm pretty sure we will return

I have just stayed at coombe abbey for 2 nights with colleagues for a business trip. When I first entered the hotel I was taken aback by the architecture and decor. The structure of the original abbey is visible throughout the lobby which is also furnished with historic pieces and a piano. The 3 double rooms that we had booked were all uniquely decorated and furnished in keeping with the theme of the abbey, with my room having a bathtub in the bedroom. We had booked breakfast for 2 mornings and we were very pleased with the selection and quality of the food which we enjoyed in the conservatory resteraunt. We also had an evening meal with alcoholic drinks in the bar area, we were extremely impressed with the quality of the meals and the low price of the drinks, this was a pleasant surprise as you would normally expect high prices in a hotel of this grandeur. We enjoyed a sunny afternoon walk around the grounds/woods/lakes which are very well maintained and easily accessible. Overall we had a fantastic stay at coombe abbey and I will be returning with family for leisure.

We have just arrived back from our 3night stay and we had a fantastic . stay. All staff wonderful and most helpful in all departments. Breakfast is to die for, best we have ever had anywhere, dinner's 1st class also. The ground's are beautiful to walk and we did around 3 and half miles each day after breakfast.
