First impressions count for so much , so when we arrived we asked if an extra hour on check out was possible as we were going to a wedding, the receptionist who could barely look up or be bothered just said no we’re very busy , ask in the morning Luckily in the morning there was a pleasant receptionist and the extra hour wasn’t a problem A positive is the room was very spacious Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positive Only 1 pillow on the bed , even a premier inn gives you 2 The rooms are tired , there was obvious flaking plaster above the window The shower is awful, no shower trap , the water might be hot but you couldn’t fully stand under it , the shower is big but as the water only jets about 18 inches its pointless The breakfast was rank , everything that was meant to be hot was tepidly warm For 1 night it was just passable

Hotel clean, tidy, spacious room Disappointing when checking in at 3pm not told buy receptionist that the restaurant was nearly full so would have to go out to get meal. When going into bar at 5pm. Had a drink then went into the restaurant at 6pm told by staff restaurant full and could not fit in two people for a meal immediately even though restaurant not even quarter full. Told could have meal on room with room service. Who wants a meal in the bedroom when restaurant in hotel. The girl on the desk just said no can't help. lifts not working staying on second floor. Told reported at midnight and 7am but @10am still had to use stairs

This could of been so much better. It's nice hotel, mainly geared for conferences, there were several the 4 days we were there. The facilities are great, a nice pool, sauna, steam room, restaurant, bar, coffee shop. Plus they give u coupons to use at check in. All good so far. The problem was mainly housekeeping related. We had 2 rooms for 4 nights and got our rooms serviced once. Despite leaving the tag on the door every day. At one point I went to reception and spoke to someone, gave them the room numbers and she promised they would come. In one room, they made the bed, but left or put cookies under the sheets, the other room they didn't make the bed but left clean towels. The other problem was I was with my teen kids, we asked for 2 rooms next to each other. They literally places us as far away as possible one on the ground floor at the furthest end of the hall and one on the 2nd floor at the other end. I did try to call reception several times to ask again about housekeeping and the v phone was never answered. Having said that the rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were well maintained, one room had AC, the other one didn't.
