The Stables Deer Park Farm

We stayed for two nights and had a pleasant stay. The self check-in worked well for us. The room and kitchen were a decent size, the bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The only small issues were the lighting—especially in the lounge and toilet—as the lights were a bit temperamental and sometimes took a while to come on. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. We stayed with our two dogs, and there was a lovely patio area at the back of the property. The only thing I wish is that it had been fully enclosed so we could have let the dogs out on their own. With one of them only 13 weeks old, we couldn’t risk it. Overall, it was a really nice stay. The grounds were a little neglected, but it didn’t affect our visit, and the weather wasn’t great anyway so I wasn’t able to explore much. We stayed here a few years ago and had an equally good experience then. The owner is approachable and quick to answer questions before arrival.

I had an lovely stay on a stop over from Scotland to Eastbourne. The rooms were very cosy and quiet, but spacious and well decorated. Self check in with door code super easy. Parking right in front of room. Nice outdoor seating right by room and more on the green opposite. Kitchen had everything I needed and the breakfast items were appreciated. Enjoyed walking around with my dog looking at the deer, alpacas and ponies. The facility was especially appealing to a female solo traveller as it felt very secure.

Lovely location on the outskirts of Solihull. Quiet, clean and tidy with good local transport links to Central Birmingham close by. Great place to stay if you are looking for something a bit different. Will be looking to stay again in the future.
