Barons Court Hotel

My wife stayed here while visiting her mother in hospital. She found it uncomfortable and dirty and couldn’t get hold of any staff to provide assistance. Our of a four day booking she stayed elsewhere for 2 nights. Offered me a partial refund to tKe a down a bad review on booking.com so ratings in my view can’t be relied upon.

I didnt go, despite having booked and paid to stay in November 2026 this year back in February 2026. I recieved a text message, not very proffesional, on the 25th September at 21.46!! saying they are overbooked and that I had to cancel my booking. How has it taken them 7 months to work this out!! Spoke to the hotel this morning, 26th September, the person said they would get back to me after they spoke with Expedia which they did not. This left me to sort the cancellation myself with Expedia. So if you think because you have paid to stay here it does not guarantee you can actually stay there. Very poor and very unproffesional

Situated in a nice place value for money on price of the room friendly staff. No air conditioning but fan provided. Got scared by the suit of armour in the corner of the hallway a few times😂😂 stairs a little steep but would definitely stay again
