Hyde Park Economy Apartments

A great apartment located just a minute or so walk from underground station and plenty of shops and restaurants and close to Hyde Park if attending an event there. Everything was clean and in working order and we found the reception staff to be very welcoming and friendly. I thought the door alarm to let you know you hadn't shut the door fully was a reassuring touch. We visited during one of the biggest heat waves the UK has ever seen and the room was very hot. A fan was provided but maybe air con is required (reading through earlier reviews, it looks like the company has noted this and is gradually installing them). Overall I would recommend to other travels and would stay here again.

Stayed for 1 night in studio 22 on the 4th floor, a little annoying since theres no lift but cant be helped. our room was a good size with a big kitchen area. everything was clean but some minor wear and tear was noticeable. great location for the tube, shops, hyde park and buses. only negative being the bathroom was across the hall but again that cant be helped. Pillows and bedding was not the best but wasn't a problem only staying for one night but i reckon would be annoying if staying for longer. Booked through airbnb with no problems.

We booked for a 5 nights stay in London an efficiency with supposedly a mezzanine. Mezzanine it was but that was only a 47in bed and nothing else. We had to sleep head to foot to find some sleep. We were told the bed was standard English, I did not know the Brits were so thin in any case I have not seen evidence of it in the streets. Housekeeping some what lax, bed never made, but I understand it is very difficult to make. Other than that equipment is minimal but adequate, nothing is in tiptop shape but ok.
