Hardly any parking! 182 rooms and only 37 parking spaces on site. My husband phoned the hotel twice before we went to make sure parking wouldn't be a problem and was told there was plenty of space. We arrived in the evening ready for an early flight in the morning. NO SPACES. We were told that the overflow parking was up the road by the Premier Inn. So my husband left me with the cases and went up the road to a small bit of scrubland with broken glass on the ground that Ibis calls an overflow car park. No lighting or security! Obviously the process had to happen in reverse at 5.30 am the next morning. To add insult to injury they then charged us £15 for parking. IF YOU ARE GOING BY CAR DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL!

Stayed for one night only in a twin room. Check-in was fast with the staff member being informative and friendly. I was quite surprised with the room, having stayed in just about every other hotel group previously but not Ibis. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board, kettle and sachets of tea/coffee, wifi and air-conditioning worked well, bed was very comfortable, plenty of space in the room and it as spotlessly clean. Had fish n' chips for dinner and it was good! But the best thing is the cooked buffet breakfast served from 0600 onwards. Great sausages, lovely back bacon, mushrooms, coffee machine, croissants etc etc. A very, very good quality breakfast. In future when travelling via airports, I'll definitely now be looking at Ibis as first choice.

Stayed here for 1 night prior to a midday flight at LGW. Parking on-site had sold out but the manager was out in the car park trying to shuffle / organise cars to maximise capacity. We parked next door in the Premier Inn which was no bother. The reception was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the room; clean, functional, had everything we required for this type of stay. We enjoyed a drink in the bar in the evening. Would stay again!
