Let me say, I did not stay at this hotel on this visit (May 2026) but I was supposed to. It had closed "for a few days" due to a leaking pipe and they canceled the booking. They sent me to the ultra inconvenient Sheraton Heathrow with no options to stay at the Marriott right next door or the Renaissance which is much closer to Terminals 2 and 3. My main point in posting this review is to let folks know the closure for "a few days" has now turned in to closed for a year.... as it won't reopen until mid 2027. You would think both the website's own page and the Marriott page for this property would mention that.

The rooms were old and dirty, and the bed sheets had clearly not been changed. The facilities were in very poor condition. We even found a luggage tag underneath the bed sheet, which strongly suggests that the bedding had not been replaced between guests. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable and made our stay very disappointing.

We booked to stay here the night before we flew off on our honeymoon. Thought we'd treat ourselves to an upgrade and have access to the executive lounge. Big mistake. Nothing executive about it. Nibbles and soft drinks, Water.... That's it.... What a waste of money. They did put some balloons and some towel swans on our bed for check in and we received a voucher for 1 free drink in the bar (which was initially going to be 2 each but she took a voucher each away!!) Room was ok but DO NOT waste your money. Avoid. So sad. Did not start the honeymoon as we wanted. Gutted.
