The Aldwick B&B

Great place to stay, clean, tidy, great breakfast, and they go the extra mile. Made us breakfast very early.

Where Shall I Start. From the moment I approached the front door Saturday Afternoon to leaving the front door Sunday Morning I could not fault the host of this family run business we had a choice of Room 1 or Room 3 which catered for Pete’s Wheelchair we took the larger room Room 1 which also had a bath, even better. Milk for the room Tea , coffee, mini fridge for the milk and Bottled Water Plus requested ice water for me and sent up within 5 mins Breakfast was included and again could find fault hospitality, service around Pete and His Wheelchair.

Greeted by male staff member who we initially thought was a guest. Polite greeting but confusing as very informal and quick. He just asked for my name and then said we where we could find our room. He asked if we wanted milk for a cuppa before we went out (as we explained we were heading out in less than an hour which was why we'd arranged an earlier check in). We declined as we did not have the time but did not realise that this means there was no milk for tea/coffee in the morning. Our room was really clean (although a previous guest had left their glasses on the unit and this was not spotted when it was cleaned as they were still there and after leaving we had a call to tell us we'd forgotten them. I then explained that they must have been from the previous guests). As I said, clean but quite dated decor. Nice little supply of hot drink options (no milk in mini fridge though) and a bottle of water which was a nice touch. Very comfortable bed so a great nights sleep and lovely breakfast included in the price too. In an ideal position if you want the beach front. We had to park on a side street as it was very busy around the hotel. Not quite our "cup of tea" so we would not be returning unfortunately.
