The Lamb at Angmering

We booked for 5 nights and didnt regret it. Room was exellent, restaurant and breakfast were exellent.Personnel and staff was super friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the pub.

We booked a three night break and experienced a very comfortable room, excellent food and very friendly, efficient service from every member of staff throughout our stay. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

I have stayed at the Lamb several times over the last few years and have had a delightful stay. My visit last week was not so good sadly and that's probably my fault as I neglected to book a premium room (I wasn't given an option on the site that we booked with) The room that we had was very tired although somewhat clean but needed a total revamp.; empty screw holes in the shower and no leg room on the loo. The carpet leading to the bedroom has a horrible stain and the owners need to address this. My Partner had breakfast and said it was fantastic; however there was confusion at lunch. The Lamb advertises as dog friendly, but apparently not in the restaurant. It was my Mothers 87th Birthday and whilst the food was amazing, there was a rather annoyed atmosphere. Perhaps just say that dogs are welcome in the Bar area to avoid confusion, I love the Lamb, however I think that it's maybe time to re-invest and tidy it up, I didn't enjoy my stay this time sadly but I hope that you can get it back to the wonderful standards of a few years ago
