The Met

The hotel staff are great so welcoming. Our room was a premium room that had everything we needed. The little added extras we had was a nice touch, crisps nuts biscuits and Pepsi. We would stay here again and will recommend to friends.

We booked through secret escapes two older ladies, who travel a lot, bottle of prosecco all ready we had an upgrade on arrival which we were pleased about, the staff before hand i emailed them about a twin room, and yes they helped me and only too happy to help, staff all great, rooms so lovely one of the best hotels we have stayed in also the breakfast, EXCELLENT everything and more from gluten free options as my friend was so pleased about this, to just about everything and more you want for breakfast one of the best, and just all nice and friendly staff in the dining room, we will be back and thank you for such a great stay...WE LOVED IT

Looked good from their web site but not great in reality. Central to shops etc and train station. Bar soulless with untrained staff over worked, doesn't work in its current state. Bedroom ok but shower had either steam or freezing plus the shower door was hanging off literally. Probably find somewhere next time.
