Hollins Hall, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club

We have stayed at this hotel twice now, first as a couple second time as a family of 4. Great value for money with lots of facilities. It is a beautiful property within stunning grounds. The rooms are big, simple in decor and the bathrooms look recently renovated. We ate at the bar the kids had sausage and mash, great quality sausages. We had steak and ale pie. The best pie we’ve ever eaten out, proper homemade in a deep dish with shortcrust pastry and heaps of meat, fresh vegetables and chips with extra gravy. Will definitely stay here again, ideal location close to the airport.

Location beautiful, rooms less than adequate, pillows a nightmare, food atrocious

Our group of 25 had a wonderful birthday celebration in one of the hotel’s private function rooms. The setting and ambience were beautifully planned and created a lovely atmosphere. ✨ The buffet was amazing! 😋 Roast beef, roast chicken, salmon and such a fantastic variety of perfectly delicious vegetables. 🍗🐟🥦🥕 There was certainly no shortage of food! One small point I’m sure will be rectified: the plates were rather cold and a little too small for the generous buffet. There was so much delicious food that we were concerned about wastage. Thankfully, the staff very kindly allowed us to take some of the remaining food home. 👍 Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re considering a similar celebration. 🎉🥂 Definitely a great place for a special occasion! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
