I recently stayed at the Travelodge Bradford Shipley while attending a friend’s wedding . As a solo female traveller, I’m always very conscious of hotel check-in procedures and personal security. This may not resonate with everyone, but it’s something you really notice when travelling alone. I was extremely impressed by how secure the check-in process felt, which immediately put me at ease. A special mention must go to Charlie and Tanya, who were both incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. They are an amazing credit to the Travelodge brand and made this stay stand out as one of the better Travelodges I’ve visited. The hotel was clean and the room was basic, as you would expect from a budget stay, but it had everything I needed. The genuinely warm welcome made all the difference. I’m not sure I’ll ever find myself visiting Bradford Shipley again, but if I do, I would definitely book here. I would happily recommend it, particularly to other women travelling alone.

Absolutely fantastic stay, the staff couldn’t do enough! Rihanna, Chelsey and Leah, have been brilliant, they’re a credit to travelodge! Rooms are always clean and beds are comfy. Definitely recommend this hotel thanks to the staff.
