Ilkley Riverside Inn

Just had the best ever family party at the Riverside. It was my parents' Diamond Wedding Anniversary and we booked the restaurant area for the whole afternoon, and invited all my mum's and dad's family from both sides. There were 44 of us in total, which included toddlers, teenagers, 20-somethings right up to my 87-year old Dad. Kristine and her hotel team were all amazing. So friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had ordered a finger buffet which was ideal and plenty of it. My Auntie had made a cake so the hotel gave us extra plates and napkins for that. The bar area was open so our guests were able to go through and get their drinks in, but at the same time, the staff were great in bringing us fresh glasses for some jugs of juice and water since it was a very hot day. Fabulous location especially since the little ones could let off steam in the children's park next door, the teenagers could go play on the table tennis table outside and the room was the perfect size for everyone to sit and chat, and mingle together. We watched the England game in the evening and then some of us had rooms booked in the hotel. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. And cannot fault the breakfast! Tasty, plenty of it, and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Fantastic location, very friendly staff & the food was excellent. I would highly recommend.

We popped into the Riverside hotel whilst in Ilkley for lunch and a couple of drinks. We have been here before but didn’t write a review, im now putting that right with this review. It’s a charming place and from the minute we walked in the lady serving behind the bar was very welcoming and friendly, she had a smile on her face which is rare these days. We had our drinks then ordered lunch, the food was first class and presented beautifully, very well priced and it was worth every penny. The rest of the staff were equally as pleasant and attentive, so we decided to stay for another drink. This is how hospitality should be to gain repeat business, thank you for your exceptional service we will definitely be back.
