South Milford Hotel

Never again, Too much hanging around.We went to Bosworth hall at Christmas do we really need breakfast at 8 in the morning we are on holiday,the room needed a good clean .The toilet didn’t flush luckily I had my own plumber with me.Nearly scolded myself in the shower as the taps are not thermostic and the room needs a good clean especially the bathroom floor. Too much hanging around on the journey coach journeys 4hours to kill on the way back and some people had mobility issues.We had booked for New Year but decided not to bother

We had visited the exceptionally busy York Christmas market on our National coach tour this weekend so this hotel was our stop over for the night before visiting Beverley the next day. From the very quick and efficient check in through to the lovely evening meal and a good nights sleep this hotel was great. Our room was lovely and clean and warm which I was really happy about when I woke in the early hours to hear the wind outside whistling around us....who cares it was very cosy in our room! The meals...especially the evening meal were great. They are buffet and of a high standard with plenty of choices and without exception extremely tasty...chef well done...you should be very proud. I think my only moan albeit only slightly is the cost of the drinks. I appreciate that due to the hotels location we were a captive audience but it would have been nice to have had the choice of maybe a cheaper bottle of wine to take in for dinner and maybe then we would have had two! However well done and keep on looking after National holiday guests...you’re all doing a brilliant job. x

Stopped over on a trip with National Holiday's and I've got to say it was lovely. We got our room keys pretty fast, room was spacious and clean. Staff were amazing and polite!! Food was delicious especially the creamy mushrooms. Overall had an amazing night & enjoyed the experience. Thank you :)
