River House - Guest House

I stayed here on my Pennine Way walk. This place is delightful and right on the trail. Fresh milk was provided for tea in my room. My accommodations were very quiet and I had my best sleep so far on the PW. The hosts did a load of laundry for me at a decent price. It was a luxury to have clean clothes again! Breakfast was ample and the packed lunch was good. Dinner is not provided so you need to eat elsewhere such as Lister Arms (make a reservation).

Ann and Alex gave is a very pleasant stay. Clean and comfortale rooms. Good breakfast and made is a wonderfull lunch in short time of notice. Highly recommended.

This was our first time to the Yorkshire Dales, and we wanted to do some walking in the Malham area. The River House B&B was the perfect location. It's literally just around the corner from the Malham (Mal-um) Visitors Center. This is a historic building, and it's well kept. The beds were comfortable, and rooms nicely appointed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful! Our daily walks started from the front door of our B&B! A larger first floor room serves as the location for a delicious breakfast, to order. There is parking in front for the hotel guests. I would definitely recommend!
