I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms is unacceptable. The housekeeping staff enter the room, but the only thing they do is “make the bed,” and even that is an exaggeration. They simply throw the blankets back without even changing the sheets — I have been staying here for a month, and the linens have never been replaced. The bathroom is also in very poor condition. There is even a message written on the shower glass that appears every time it fogs up, which shows it has not been properly cleaned for a long time. The shower itself is so dirty that I feel forced to wear slippers just to step inside. The biggest issue, however, was the breakfast service. I paid for breakfast that was supposed to be available at 6:30 a.m., but when I woke up, I was told it would only be served at 7:00 a.m. This was simply due to poor organization by the staff, which is unacceptable for a paying guest. The only positive note I can mention is a gentleman and a young woman who often work the morning shift together. They are punctual, precise, and very kind, and they clearly stand out compared to the rest of the staff. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to the lack of cleanliness and poor management.

Easy to find location just off the motorway . Check in was quick and easy . Rooms are compact but adequate . (Just very little room to get in / out of bed as only about 10 inches from the wall at one side !) Kettle and tea and coffee in room . No safe nor fridge . Bathroom was clean , had walk in shower and plenty towels . We went out for the day and came back and cups were washed and coffee replenished but bed wasn’t made 🤷‍♀️ Breakfast is a basic buffet ( £10 if you pre book on arrival but £12 if you decide to have without booking) . Breakfast is the only meal available here as they do not have a restaurant nor provide any other food. However there is a Greggs ,KFC , Burger King , M&S food store , WHSmith and a Costa next door at the service station and the hotel allows food to be taken in and eaten either in your room or their tables at reception. Bar at reception has a good selection of drinks but a bit pricey. Sleep quality was surprisingly good being so close to the motorway .

Whilst not complaining about the venue, Days Inn allow bookings through "guest reservations. com" who are a company based in the USA. They quote wondrous reductions but actually charge you approx. 50 percent more than their quoted prices and Of Course will not refund any money once they have envigled it out of you. PLEASE BEWARE!!!! how you book.
