Red Lion - B&B

I would highly recommend The Red Lion.I can not big the pub up enough. The room and ensuite was lovely, the manager and staff were all friendly and attentive and the fish and chips was banging.I can not say a bad thing about the pub, only go there and be amazed by everything they do there to make you feel welcome and well looked after.Excellent place.

My daughter and I went on our travels and this time stayed at the delightful Red Lion hotel in Lacock. What a find, right next to the Abbey, which is also a must visit place but the hotel is perfect! It’s old, it has charm and character and even better the staff are warm, welcoming and very friendly. We had a room overlooking one of the side streets and a night you could hear a pin drop! So peaceful and quiet. We had breakfast there both mornings and it was a very good choice of menu for breakfast, had a full English and pancakes on the other day and both are highly recommended. Many stars have stayed at this hotel as Lacock is a famous village for movies and it’s interesting to speak with locals about who they have met over the years. The room we had was lovely, clean and tidy and had tea and coffee making facilities which is always most useful. We would definitely stay here again, it’s well worth a visit!

We spent one night at this property, including breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a few rooms above the Pub. Super friendly and smiling staff! Convenient and free parking next to the facilities. Great dinner and good price. Great express breakfast. Rooms not very large and little cared for in cleaning. Recommended!
