The Bell Inn

The best experience in a country pub I have had. Very welcoming owners and staff. We stayed one night and the room was delightful. Clean with spotless white linen and white towels in the en-suite shower. The evening meal was delicious with local sourced food and fresh veg. The continental breakfast served in a hamper for an extra £10 was a revelation. Fresh croissants lots of butter and conserves with good muesli, fresh milk,local apple juice and a bowl of fresh fruit. Extra Taylor’s coffee bags were also provided. We will be back to sample the delights of this beautiful area.

Not for the first time, we had an evening meal in The Bell and were delighted with every aspect of the evening. A friendly reception in a classic traditional English pub. The bar and dining area were relaxed and fun, The bar staff are delightful, as were all of the pub 'team'. The menu is varied and the dishes we had were delicious. Prices are very competitive. An excellent outing.

Typical English Hostel, a charming welcome, and excellent food. A place full of regulars for Sunday lunch, alive and authentic. Mushroom soup and leg accompanied by delicious vegetables. A pretty building with a simple decoration. It's worth a visit.
