Friendly and helpful Easy to check in and out The rooms and bathroom clean and tidy Hotel is right on the high street in the middle of town - plenty of parking around the hotel - no dedicated parking Despite the room being above the pub, the noise level was lower than we’d expected This is a proper olde worlde pub serving great beer - Wadworth’s 6x being particularly good The rooms carry on the character- you know you’re in an historic building It’s great to have supported a local business with our stay. They’ve put a lot of effort into decorating the rooms. The materials used were of high quality and in keeping with a boutique hotel feel. If we were visiting again, we’d stay here again I’d also give the hotel a call to book

What a lovely, welcoming, friendly pub! We stopped over in our motorhome and were welcomed with open arms. There’s a field at the back you can stay in for £15 a night. The pub was lovely, dog friendly and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much for them.
