Stayed at the Firtree whilst working in the area upon checking in Chris was pleasant and friendly but a lot of do,s and don’t rules. Room was ok until the dive next room came in mega noisy then car gets eggs smashed on roof ask Chris to check cctv said came from street then the B and B gets eggs at front he said kids total lies it was my noisy neighbor who I had words with but because Chris is getting good money off council for letting scum stay there B and B guests are second rate to him also not allowed to use dining room after 9pm but the scum bags who stay there all year round are allowed to so please people do not even contemplate staying there. PS YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED

Phoned up for a Booking on an extremely busy weekend as Fairford was on
Chris the manager was very accommodating and booked us in for Friday and Saturday Nights
When we arrived he was brilliant , made us feel very welcome straight away and showed us around
It was really convenient for us as we were down in Swindon for a friends Barbeque
But this said I wouldn't hesitate to say that the Location is excellent for Swindon and all surrounding areas too
The décor although not modern is extremely clean and tidy and Chris has thought of everything and I am sure if we had wanted anything else he would of tried his utmost to get it
He supplied Toothbruth,Toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, sponges, shavers, soap all of which are items in our haste we sometimes can forget ...
There was water ,coffee,Tea all supplied
There was a Hairdryer in the room too
The shower was easy to use and the settings pleasant as sometimes can vary between extremely Hot Or Cold this was just right
Breakfast was Continental style but what was supplied was very nice and of a good standard
Over the road is The Rat Trap where you can get a really nice selection of food and local beers

This is the worst place I've ever stayed. The bedding didn't smell clean the towel didn't smell clean, it's scruffy dirty and dinghy. The continental breakfast is just some cordial in the corner some cereal and some chocolate bread things that are supposed to be croissants, in need of a major make over, and probably new owners. The only bonus was the rat trap pub across the road.
