HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS

We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Swindon West! We actually stayed back in July but I have only just got around to leaving a review. When we checked in, we were absolutely exhausted and the man on reception was an absolute breath of fresh air! He greeted us quickly, was extremely friendly and had a good laugh with us. After receiving our room key, we went up to have a nice hot shower and relax. The room had tea and coffee supplied, as well as milk. There was a working TV. The room was clean and the bed was fresh and crisp. The bathroom was similarly very clean. Good water pressure and lovely hot water. We asked for some recommendations of restaurants in the local area and the same man hwo checked us could not have been more helpful! Breakfast the next morning was incredible. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns etc, all cooked to perfection. Fresh fruit, toast and jams. Everything was monitored and topped up regularly. It was scorching hot. Good coffee machines too and a pancake machine! We stayed two nights and slept really well on both nights. There was a great air con machine. Breakfast was amazing on the second day too! It was super easy to check out.we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! The staff made this Holiday Inn as they were so nice!

Stayed for 4 nights for business purposes. Arriving the first night was interesting, one girl on the reception checking everyone in and taking food orders, and one guy clearing tables as well as making the meals and running them. Chaos. The rooms were fine, AC units are always welcome. The service and staff were the standout with Chloe and Sean being exceptional. Always making time and effort for anybody who needed it and being helpful polite and courteous whenever possible. The food however is appalling,£17.50 for a literal FROZEN PIZZA is abysmal. Everything else on the menu was frozen or microwaved slop and doesn’t deserve to be charged anywhere near as highly as it was. Choosing a meal each evening was truly torturous. The breakfast was alright and well prepared at least. In truth 4 stars should be earned here but dropping an extra star purely for the price of a Tesco-esque frozen pizza.

Stayed overnight here . Room spacious and clean . Recommend as very reasonable for time of year .
