Paramount

absolutly awful apartment! They cancelled my reservation 2 days before i was meant to stay there! They have very bad customer service. i have to wait 15 days for my money back and holiday cancelled! AWFUL PLACE

There are lots of apartments used for short lets in this building and knowing people who have used them before and have given good feedback I decided to use them. Parking was confusing as to how to get into the underground car park without a fib which is in the apartment and the car park spaces difficult to find. Apartment 34 was asthetically pleasing and really large and would sleep 5 people with separate kitchen and dining area. Upon using the facilities, we found the hot water coffee machine didn’t work, easily sorted after we took out and replaced the fuse but it was smelly and the hot water was undrinkable once used in coffee even after boiling new water several times. So couldn’t be used. The kitchen worktop was split and tired and not grouted properly. The oven and hob were good though and there was plenty of pans, utensils etc. The cold water mixer on the shower was broken so it was really difficult to get water out that wasn’t too hot and it was impossibly hard to have a shower because it burned. The curtains in the living area aren’t wide enough for the big window and the bedroom ones are too thin and the daylight shines through and wakes you up at the crack of dawn. I would stay at the Paramount again, the location is good but I would definitely try to avoid Apartment 34

Very poor. Wrong information given regarding which apartment we were in. Had to call to find out correct information. Had to wash all the dishes when we arrived. Broken dishwasher. No cooking utensils. hardly any pots or pans. Dirty walls and floors. Half the globes were blown in the rooms. Stinking hot apartment with only one window facing into a courtyard. No cooling whatsoever. Sky TV which didn't work. Only free channels worked which the tv could pick up without the sky box so utterly pointless. Broadband blocking vpn sites so couldn't vpn to my computer back home. Right above a gym so very noisy. Friday night noise carried on past 3am at which point I had to close all the windows (making the place even hotter) and use earplugs. Definitely not worth the amount charged. Wouldn't recommend!
