The Barrington Arms Hotel

The Barrington Arms hosted the LCSC Staff College Christmas Function 2025 for 50 people. Earlier in the day, they hosted 25 for lunch. As well as our party, they were hosting a quiz night and had numerous other general public food orders coming in. They were not found wanting. All of the staff performed brilliantly, the two chefs produced some exceptional food (3 courses) and overall, there was an excellent party atmosphere. There is a great selection of beverages and the pub is clean, tidy and cosy. This is a great location for any party, large or small and it’s great to see a village pub thriving under pressure at the busiest time of year. A special thank you to Nathan, Tilly, the chefs and bar staff (and Ben for coordinating) who worked non-stop and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We’ll be back for sure and would highly recommend this establishment to deliver your party needs.

What a hidden gem. We stayed overnight as we had a family wedding in the village hall. Absolutely beautiful room, and the bed was so comfortable. The decor was tasteful, with William Morris cushions, and upholstery. Lovely touches. The bathroom was huge, with an equally huge shower. Staff at the Barrington Arms were superb. Very friendly, and very natural. Big shout out to the lovely housekeeping ladies. Also, the chef was very friendly, and busy cooking the Sunday lunch. Can’t wait to return for a longer stay. 10/10 from me.

booked in to stay the night and I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was absolutely immaculate and the shower was absolutely amazing bed very very comfortable and incredibly quiet. A very good nights sleep. When it’s over for breakfast and was offered a continental or a traditional English breakfast which I had. Fresh coffee available from a machine which was absolutely delicious, optional brown and white bread for toast. Breakfast arrived and it looked very very appetising, but it tasted absolutely amazing sausages beautiful bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, and of course baked beans. i’ll definitely be back, but I’d also stay just for that Breakfast, which set me up for the day. Staff, very friendly and very knowledgeable. .
