The Red Lion

Super quick and friendly service, quality of the food was superb (we both had a roast meal) and the quantities on the plates were enormous! Amazing! What more is there to say?

Had an excellent overnight stay. Really friendly team. Spacious room with everything needed. Enjoyed our evening meal, lovely atmosphere in the pub. Our dogs were made to feel very welcome!

First rate lunch. We had the pie of the day (lamb and mint), braised chicken (fabulous) and the spicy chicken burger (just the right spice), but to be fair we were spoilt for choice and could have chosen any of the 20 or so dishes. Great ingredients and lovely cooking. Service was spot on too.
