The Dove Inn

Although it is a bit far from the highway and you have to drive for a while on a bad road, it is worth it. The location is perfect for visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury. The complex is in a very quiet location, ideal for resting. The rooms in one building and the pub in another. We were not there on a weekend so we could not try the pub for dinner, we had to go both nights to nearby Warminster. The room is fine, without luxuries but correct, good size and comfortable. Outside it also has a picnic area with a small picnic spot. The breakfast was just okay, the girls who were in charge were very pleasant.

Absolutely loved my stay, I booked 'Cornicks Cottage' on The Dove's website to secure an amazing king sized suite. It was incredibly clean and had lots of space. The comfortable mattress and refreshment amnesties made it the perfect place to relax. The included continental breakfast was very tasty and I was glad my stay included the weekend so that I could experience the pub on a busy summer evening! Sunday roast was also to die for. Not to mention the incredibly helpful staff. Will be coming back!

What a beautiful find absolutely stunning place beautiful bar and lounge area and wonderful rooms , everything very high spec . Stayed for 2 nights , the breakfast was delicious and fabulous poached eggs , a very warm and comfortable stay and lovely hosts , highly recommend and we will certainly be back
