Avoid at all costs. My wife and I booked to stay at Bodnant farmhouse for our wedding anniversary on the 8th August. The whole experience was dire. Or room was dirty, stains on the furniture, drinking glasses that hadn't been washed, damage to the plaster, and a filthy bathroom.
As part of our stay we had pre-booked a meal in the Hayloft restaurant and asked for a table in the bar as we had our dog with us. When we arrived it was clear that no table had been made ready. We ordered and waited about 20 mins for our starters to arrive. My wife's starter arrived and mine did not. I had to ask 2 members of staff before it finally arrived nearly 30 mins later - cold and not as described on the menu. The main courses where also poor - for an establishemnt priding itself on using fresh and local produce - I've had better food at McDonalds! While sat in the bar we witnessed 2 other parties complaining about the service and the food so this clearly isn't an isolated incident.
I complained about the state of the room and the experience in the restaurant and was told that no manger was on site but that someone would telephone me the following day. I have also emailed to complain and have so far received no response.
No customer service, no care, they only want to take your money. Go elsewhere!

Just been to have lunch at the lovely looking Furnace Farmhouse and left incredibly disappointed. Food was so bad, had chicken flatbread and also prawn cocktail. Both dishes were a 3 or 4 out of 10. Both looked unappealing and were sadly. Chips look like they were cooked in old oil, flatbread was dry and chick average. Prawn cocktail looks an absolute mess. I bought a can of Sprite for £3.50 to wash the taste out of my mouth. Avoid. Farm shop is really good though, so deffo there.
