Foley Arms

Lovely pub but unfortunately not much sleep, Room 7 right by reception so noise very late and very early,Good view from the room, However singing and very loud noise, Although we assumed it closed at midnight on a Sunday.

Fantastic shift leader (gentleman with red hair and beard) helped us carried our cases upstairs to reception, checked us in and then carried our cases to our room. Asked if we needed anything else. Spoke to us the next day to check how the room was and if we had a good night. The hotel itself is lovely with fantastic views. All the staff are very courteous and polite.

Unable to sleep because of noise from bar below until 2.30am, manager dismissed my complaint and said bar closed at 1am. Wrote to head office , they said noise was probably from people waiting for taxis outside. I explained that when I looked out of window there was nobody waiting for taxis. Still no reply after 15 days. Do yourself a favour and don't stay at this hotel.
